He was born in 1971, Budapest. After finishing the high school he gained admission to the jazz-bass faculty of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where he graduated in 1996, and then continued his studies in New York as a private student of John Patitucci.
Over his now more than 20 years long carrier he has played in numerous bands with famous Hungarian musicians.
He participated in several musicals, performed such contemporary compositions as Atlantis by Péter Eötvös and appeared in some movies too.
He also contributed to the succes of some 60 LPs featuring songs which were on the top of the Hungarian hit- and sales-lists for months.
In 2004 he started to work as a key-member of the band playing in the Hungarian version of the Pop Idol; in the first three years the shows were seen live by more than 2 million people each time, every Saturday at primetime, and after the competition the winners gave more than 100 concerts on tour all over the country.
Recently he has been playing in the band „csapdlecsabi”, and at the concerts of some of the most popular Hungarian musicians. He has also been teaching jazz-theory and practice at the Bartók Béla School of Music.
